Sardina Dental Group is located in Landisville, PA . We have a beautiful modern office, in an old restored farmhouse, a wonderful patient population, an enthusiastic team and sincere Doctors who are honest and dedicated to quality care. We are looking for a Dental Hygienist who exudes a positive attitude, has the ability to multitask, takes initiative and is willing to learn.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Maintains instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments.
- Applying fluoride and sealants to prevent dental decay.
- Completes dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and from beneath gum margins.
- Detects disease by completing oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gums; using probes to locate periodontal disease and to assess levels of recession.
- Taking digital radiographs and use of intra oral camera.
- Charting conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist.
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dexis is a plus but not necessary.
- 1 hour prophy, 1.5 hour SRP, 1.5 hour New Patients
