Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Salary: $2,120.08 - $2,320.08 /wk

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Ultrasound Program. Minimum of 12 months full-time clinical ultrasound experience required.
• ARDMS certification required. Candidate must meet requirements and successfully complete ARDMS certification.
• Experience performing a range of ultrasound studies including abdomen, OB/GYN, pediatric, basic vascular, and small parts. Experience with interventional ultrasound procedures preferred.
• Proficiency with PACS and RIS systems and electronic reporting workflows.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to obtain two points of patient identification, obtain relevant patient history, and follow institutional patient identification and infection control procedures.
• Ability to transport and transfer patients safely and to use independent judgment under pressure.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills working with departmental and hospital personnel.
• Preferred: Experience in a hospital setting and rotating among departments and off-site clinics.

• Shift hours: 0800-1630.
• Work days: Monday through Friday.
• May rotate within department, divisions, and off-site clinics by shift as required.
• Start date subject to credentialing clearance.
