Computed Tomography Technologist Full Time

We're seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a permanent role with a hospital in Marietta, OH where you will be responsible for accurately interpreting a physician's scanning instructions, skillfully administering contrast materials when indicated, and expertly operating CT scan equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year experience preferred as a CT Technologist.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or registration in Radiography with CT credentialing as required by employer.
• BLS certification.
• Experience operating CT scanners and transmitting images to PACS.
• Experience scheduling patients and coordinating with outpatient scheduling personnel.
• Experience participating in departmental on-call rotations.
• Familiarity with RT and RQI compliance requirements and departmental quality processes.
• Proficiency with computers and electronic imaging systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate the CT scanner to obtain diagnostic scans within the scope of practice defined by ARRT and ASRT and in compliance with Ohio Department of Health rules and regulations.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and quality before finalizing imaging studies.
• Transmit images to PACS and scan required documentation into electronic records.
• Participate in CT call rotation.
• Check supply expiration dates and dispose of expired items.
• Attend at least 75% of department meetings.
• Schedule patients in coordination with the Outpatient Scheduling Department.
• Maintain compliance with RQI and other required training.
• Assume additional duties and responsibilities as necessary to support the department.

Schedule:

• Shift varies. 7 on / 7 off rotation. Typical patterns include M-F nights 9pm-7am, and weekend shifts 7pm-7am.
• Shift name: Other. Additional coverage includes call responsibilities.
