Emergency Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a progressive veterinary hospital seeking a dedicated Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join their team, providing advanced emergency care for small animals (pets). In this role, you'll manage complex and critical cases, collaborate with a talented team of specialists, and provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients during overnight hours when they need it most.

Working Hours / Rota
This is an overnight role, with a schedule of seven overnight shifts from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM every three weeks. The hospital is open 24 hours, and the position offers flexibility within the overnight schedule.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Overnight Emergency Veterinarian will manage complex and critical cases, ensuring continuity of care for patients in urgent need. Responsibilities include collaborating with specialists, utilizing advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies, and contributing to research and educational initiatives in emergency and critical care. This role is open to experienced professionals.

Practice Details
This full-service hospital offers the opportunity to work in a newly designed 42,000 sq ft facility set to open in late 2025. The hospital is equipped with color-flow ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiography, a full in-house laboratory, critical care monitoring, CT scanner, MRI, high-flow oxygen, telemetry, cold laser, PulseVet shockwave, and PRP & stem cell therapy. The facility fosters an innovative, collaborative environment, encouraging staff input in shaping emergency services. The practice emphasizes exceptional patient care and client service, setting new standards in veterinary healthcare.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
