Kikka sushi is looking for a dependable Food Prep / Cook / Team Member who will provide great customer service in the both Whole Foods Market locates (must be able to work at both locations):

• 525 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX  78703
• 11920 DOMAIN DR, Austin, TX  78758

Full Time only, working 5 days a week with weekdays off (must work all Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays), working between 6am – 10:30pm (8 hour shifts plus an hour unpaid meal break). 

The Food Prep / Cook / Team Member will make sushi in advance and made-to-order sushi per the customer's request, prepare other Asian foods, prep food and clean while helping customers in a fast paced environment.  No experience making sushi, don’t worry we will teach you!

To thrive in this job you must show up to work on time and as scheduled, have a flexible morning and evening availability, be willing to work hard (this isn’t an easy job), be patient (it takes about 3 months to get comfortable with the job), must be willing to stick it out (not quit after a few days or weeks) and be able to work with multi-cultural and multi-lingual co-workers, some who barely speak English. 

Pay: $15.00 - 18.00 per hour depending on food handling and years of sushi making working experience. 

Qualifications:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Show great customer service skills
• Work all Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
• Be eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred:

• Working in quick service restaurants, supermarkets or fast paced environments
• Food handling experience and food handler certification
