Construction Manager Perm Onsite

Our client, a leading organization in the veterinary healthcare industry, is seeking a Construction Manager to join their team. As a Construction Manager Perm Onsite, you will be part of the Facilities Department supporting the expansion and development of veterinary hospitals across the United States. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Construction Manager

Location: Clayton, Missouri, onsite

Pay Range: Up to $135,000
(direct hire/need to be a US citizen or green card holder)

What's the Job?

• Manage the full construction lifecycle for ground-up builds and major expansions of veterinary hospitals nationwide.
• Coordinate with general contractors, service providers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Collaborate closely with legal and real estate teams to review, negotiate, and finalize construction contracts, minimizing risks.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring all phases from permitting to finishing are executed efficiently.
• Utilize digital tools to provide real-time project updates and maintain transparency with stakeholders and leadership.

What's Needed?

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 710+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects across multiple states.
• Ability to work effectively in a hands-on, autonomous role without junior support.
• Advanced knowledge of construction documents, building development, and scheduling.
• Proficiency in digital project management tools, Microsoft Office, CAD, and related software.
