Our client, a leading logistics and distribution organization, is seeking a Mobile Maintenance/Mechanical Technician to join their team. As a Mobile Maintenance/Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mobile Maintenance/Mechanical Technician

Location: Louisville, KY

Pay rate: $30/hr

What's the Job?

  • Maintain and repair building systems, including lighting, HVAC, and plumbing
  • Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, and food equipment
  • Support maintenance efforts for conveyor and sortation systems
  • Assist with control network and PLC troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Participate in safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

What's Needed?

  • 3 years of hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience (480V 3-phase, 110VAC, 24VDC systems)
  • Experience maintaining food service equipment and general building systems
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 80 lbs. and climbing ladders up to 30 feet
  • Experience with food equipment, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Knowledge of control systems, including PLCs and SCADA
  • Ability to lift at least 80 lbs. and work on ladders up to 30 ft.
  • High school diploma or GED; valid drivers license required
