Job Description
Introduction
A progressive veterinary hospital in Greenwood Village, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative and fast-growing team. This role blends urgent care and general practice, offering clinical variety in a modern, Fear Free-focused environment. It is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys a dynamic caseload, values strong team support, and wants to practice high-quality medicine without overnight responsibilities.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates year-round and offers flexible 10- or 12-hour shift models designed to promote work-life balance. Full-time veterinarians typically work three to four shifts per week, with weekends shared fairly among the team. There are no overnight shifts.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive primary and urgent care services to companion animals. Responsibilities include performing thorough physical examinations, developing diagnostic and treatment plans, managing same-day urgent cases, and performing surgical and dental procedures based on experience and interest. The caseload offers an engaging mix of wellness care, preventive medicine, gastrointestinal cases, dermatology, wound management, minor trauma, and other urgent presentations that do not require overnight hospitalization. You will work closely with experienced technicians and support staff to deliver efficient, high-quality care while maintaining strong communication with clients. This position suits a veterinarian who enjoys clinical autonomy, thrives in a collaborative setting, and is motivated to continually grow their medical and surgical skills.

By integrating urgent care and general practice services under one roof, the hospital provides convenient, comprehensive care to the Greenwood Village community.
Team
You will join a supportive team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff who prioritize mentorship, collaboration, and professional development. Daily case discussions, shared learning, and open communication are central to the culture. The team values innovation, efficiency, and maintaining a positive, inclusive workplace where every voice is heard.
