Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their thriving practice. The clinic provides individualized, progressive medical care for companion animals and is looking for a compassionate doctor who will work within a friendly, team-oriented environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, while remaining closed on Saturdays and Sundays. There are no weekend or after-hours requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes examining animals to assess their health and diagnose problems, treating and dressing wounds, performing surgery, testing for and vaccinating against diseases, operating medical equipment such as x-ray machines, advising owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments, prescribing medication, and working collaboratively with team members to provide high-quality care.

The facility is modern and well-equipped, serving a longstanding and loyal clientele. Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
