A Project Scheduler Principal is needed for a world class utility company in the New Albany, OH area. This role requires an expert P6 Scheduler with a background in utility construction to develop, analyze, and lead complex transmission project schedules while mentoring junior staff and managing stakeholder communications.

responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fully integrated, complex project schedules using Primavera P6 for FERC Order 1000 transmission projects.
- Define activity durations, work sequences, and relationship logic while identifying key milestones and deliverables.
- Utilize critical path methodology, resource loading, and resource leveling to manage project execution.
- Collect progress data and perform schedule maintenance to provide accurate status reports to senior management.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, site execution teams, contractors, and stakeholders across PJM, SPP, and MISO regions.
- Lead schedule review meetings, document action items, and alert teams to potential risks or delays.
- Perform schedule and cost integration, including the analysis of SPI/CPI (Schedule/Cost Performance Index) metrics.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation actions to ensure project stability.
- Mentor junior schedulers on technical systems, metric reporting, and organizational standards.
- Qualified degrees must be in a related field from an accredited university or college and could include Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, or Project Management.
- With a qualified Associate's degree, 5 years' qualified experience.
- With a qualified Bachelor's degree, 3 years' qualified experience required.
- Qualified experience includes utility specific operations knowledge/experience with a good working knowledge of work processes and procedures.
- Experience should be in design, operations, planning, project management, P6 scheduling, cost tracking analysis, forecasting, project budgets, working with accounting principles, and/or construction.
- A professional or trade certification such as a CCMP, CETa, IQCP, PMP, RMP, etc. is preferred but not required.
