NOW HIRING: Commercial Carpenter Foreman
Midland (Downtown Project)
In partnership with United Brotherhood of Carpenters – Carpenters Local 429
We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Carpenter Foreman for a major downtown Midland project. This is a long-term union opportunity (minimum 2 years) on a high-profile 12-story hotel build.
Pay & Union Benefits
- $32.07/hour (on the check)
- $9.68/hour in union benefits
- Total Package: $41.75/hour
- Access to union healthcare, retirement, and training programs
- 40–60 hours/week (based on project demands)
Project Overview
Work on a 12-story hotel construction project, serving as a working foreman leading from the front while ensuring quality and safety on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Install temporary handrails (wood & steel)
- Lead and enforce job site safety standards
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with all site regulations
- Support and coordinate with site supervision
- Perform hands-on carpentry work:
- Fixtures
- Drywall
- Doors & hardware
- Punch-out work
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Carpenter Foreman
- Ability to lead crews while working hands-on
- Strong understanding of commercial job site operations & safety
- Must provide a verified resume
- Ability to meet or join union membership requirements (Local 429)
