Your Role
The Analyst, MP&A Systems supports the governance, optimization, and daytoday operation of merchandise planning systems and the data pipelines that feed them. This role helps ensure that merchandising, planning, supply chain, and ecommerce data flows accurately and consistently across the organization by maintaining system integrations, monitoring data quality, and applying modern data practices to keep information analyticsready. This role blends retail process understanding with handson data and application skills to troubleshoot issues, validate data, document processes, and contribute to scalable integration patterns. They play a key role in supporting forecasting accuracy, inventory visibility, omnichannel reporting, and operational decisionmaking by ensuring data is timely, reliable, and aligned across systems.
Your Impact
Demonstrates strong retail systems expertise with a datafirst mindset.
Solid understanding of data modeling principles and pipeline architecture.
Experience supporting governance of key retail master data domains, including item, location, vendor, customer, and hierarchy.
Manages processes and applications that capture, update, classify, and validate product and assortment data.
Proactively identifies opportunities to improve data accuracy, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
Executes largescale data updates with precision, ensuring alignment with critical dependencies and downstream impacts.
Monitors and upholds data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across interconnected systems.
Partners with cross functional stakeholders to understand data needs, troubleshoot issues, and support business processes.
Collaborates across teams to strengthen data operations, governance practices, and resource effectiveness.
Communicates complex data and system concepts in a clear, concise, and business friendly manner.
Actively contributes to a culture of documentation, data literacy, and continuous improvement.
Demonstrates persistence in supporting current state tools while partnering with business and technical teams on system upgrades, data migrations, and integration initiatives.

Minimum Salary: $76,700.00
Maximum Salary: $101,955.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
Qualifications
Your Experience
Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Applications or related disciplines).
2-4 years' experience in retail systems, business applications, or data management.
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve data issues within and between applications.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborative and curious with interest in integrating AI/ML models into data workflows
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
Skill in documenting data and process architecture, preferred.
Proficient in SQL and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power Platform), ability to execute and create complex data queries and data manipulation.
Experience with reporting tools (such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Google/Looker Studio or PowerBI).
Experience working with databases, data management platforms, and data pipelines integrating data sources, ensuring data integrity and consistency across the organization. Snowflake & Python experience a plus.
Experience with retail/MRP platforms such as SAP, Oracle Retail, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, O9 Solutions, or custom merchandising systems, preferred.
