Our client, a leading organization in the medical device industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer I to join their team. As a Quality Engineer I, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?
- Support cross-functional teams through changes to on-market product design and manufacturing processes.
- Provide support for design and compliance projects within the division.
- Guide and influence product teams through design, validation, and regulatory compliance processes.
- Assess manufacturing process changes and their impact on product quality and compliance.
- Maintain and ensure adherence to the quality system appropriate for specific medical devices.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 5 years of work experience in Quality or a related field, such as diagnostic quality or technical areas.
- Thorough understanding of the design control lifecycle, including design inputs, verification, validation, and commercialization.
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with management, peers, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of application of IVDR standards to the design process is a plus.
