Join a traveling team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while enjoying the experience of a new location. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and procedures and operate imaging and hemodynamic equipment to capture crucial cardiac data.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT (R)).
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• Kansas state licensure as required.
• Previous Cath Lab experience for cardiovascular procedures. (Preferred: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from CCI.)
• Experience with GE imaging and hemodynamic systems.
• Ability to scrub and monitor cases and support 24/7 cardiology on-call coverage.
• Orientation availability: approximately 12 hours of orientation specific to Cath Lab, Pre/Post, and OR.

Minimum Requirements (Client Specific)

• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), ARRT (R).
• Kansas license required.
• Previous Cath Lab hospital experience supporting cardiovascular cases. Minimum experience expectation: previous hands-on Cath Lab experience (client expects experienced technologist).
• Experience with GE imaging and hemodynamic equipment.
• Willingness to respond to on-call within 30 minutes as part of rotated call schedule.
• Ability to float within department to Cath Lab, Pre/Post, and OR for Cath Lab cases.
• Ability to attend in-state orientation week; driver's license must be submitted; candidate must reside within 60-mile radius per client requirement.
• Preferred: RCIS (CCI) certification.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Unit: Cath Lab Tech - SCD. One suite/lab; average 2-3 cases per day.
• Shift: Days. 4x10 day schedule with call responsibilities.
• On-call: Rotated; cardiology on-call coverage 24/7. Call response time: 30 minutes.
• Orientation: Unit-specific orientation for Cath Lab, Pre/Post, and OR; orientation week attendance in-state required.
• Case duties: Scrub and monitor cases.
