Hogan Programmer Analyst
Expected job responsibilities:
Analyze user and business requirements and translate them into technical design specifications.
Develop, test, and debug mainframe applications using core languages like COBOL, JCL, and SQL.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analysts, testers, operations) throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and production incidents in a timely manner.
Good Analytical skills
Analyze and identify potential automation opportunities within the existing technical environment; automate processes which provides tangible ROI.
Technical proficiency:
Possess strong knowledge in: Extensive hands on working experience with Hogan mainframe systems.
Hogan CIS, Hogan Umbrella, Hogan Deposits.
Programming Languages: COBOL, JCL (Job Control Language), SQL.
Databases/File Systems: DB2, VSAM, IMS DB/DC (experience may vary by company).
Mainframe Environment: IBM z/OS systems and associated utilities/tools (e.g., CICS, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, File-AID, Abend-Aid,)
Mainframe Tools: CA7 (Scheduling), Endevor, REXX and Easytrieve
Hogan Applications: Working experience with any Hogan Application IDS (Integrated Delivery System), CIS (Customer Information System), or RPM (Relationship Pricing Module).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $69.50 - $69.50/hr.
