Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting with exposure to general, vascular, and OB-GYN sonography. (Client requires acute care experience.)
• Basic scanning skills with understanding of sonographic physics and techniques.
• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology with ability to recognize normal from abnormal findings.
• Experience with Siemens Acuson S200 and GE Logiq E10 preferred.
• Familiarity with Allscripts EMR and InteleRad PACS preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• RDMS credential required.
• NH MIRT licensure required.
• At least one year of hands-on ultrasound experience required; two years preferred.
• Preferred: RVT, OB-GYN, or AB certifications; experience in the OR and with ultrasound-guided procedures; one year of additional clinical experience beyond entry-level education.

• Facility type: Outpatient radiology department within an acute-care hospital campus.
• Shift: Nights.
• Shift hours: 1900-0700.
• Weekend coverage: Position covers weekend nights as part of schedule.
• Typical patient population: pediatric to geriatric.
• Equipment used: Siemens Acuson S200 and GE Logiq E10.
• EMR/PACS: Allscripts and InteleRad.
• Floating: Opportunities for extra shifts within the department; may have opportunities in breast ultrasound if desired.
