Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

Experience with Allscripts/Eclipsys is preferred from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Local & travel allowed.

COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Blessing Hospital.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job youre applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have total joint experience. Understanding of PCA pumps, reversal drugs (narcan), sepsis management. Experience with TPN/ Lipids. Narcotic usage.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Sat. Sun for both shifts. In the holiday rotation with core staff. Schedules out 6 weeks in advance.

Floating Requirements: Float to like units only. If floated to higher acuity it would be to work as a help all and not take a patient load.

Special Requests: Will not guarantee block scheduling.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
