Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights? Join a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team in Alamogordo, NM and play a vital role supporting cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. Provide procedural support, operate advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment, and contribute to excellent patient care while working with an experienced multidisciplinary team.

What You'll Need:

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, an associate's degree in a healthcare-related field, or acceptable equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA only).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required (AHA only).
• State licensure as required by modality. New Mexico: RRT or FUS by MIRTP NMED required when applicable.
• 0-1 year experience in an acute care setting preferred. Experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting preferred.
• Training or demonstrated competency with cath lab imaging and hemodynamic systems, fluoro/Xray operation, contrast injector, and access site management preferred.
• Preferred certifications (one or more): RCIS (CCI), RCES (CCI), RCS (CCI), Radiography (R) by ARRT, CI/CV/VI by ARRT, RDMS specialties (AB, OB/GYN), AE RDCS (ARDMS), or RVT (ARDMS).
• Ability to perform sterile technique consistently and serve as radiation safety representative during Xray use.
• Willingness to participate in patient transport and departmental duties as needed.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 06:00 - 16:00.
• Work schedule: 4 days, 10 hours per day.
• Weekend/on-call expectation: Every other weekend call covering Friday 16:00 to Monday 05:59.
