Build the Data Engine Behind a Scaling Company

Advantage.Tech is hiring a Senior BI Analyst to take full ownership of how data is extracted, structured, and used to run the business.

You will work directly with leadership to define KPIs, build dashboards, and expose inefficiencies across service delivery, sales, finance, and operations.

Your work will directly impact revenue, profitability, and growth.

What You’ll Do

Data Extraction & Engineering

• Write advanced SQL queries across multiple systems
• Extract, join, and normalize inconsistent data
• Build and maintain scalable data models

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Design and build Power BI dashboards used by leadership weekly
• Develop standardized KPI frameworks across departments
• Replace manual reporting with automated dashboards

Business Impact

• Work directly with executives to define KPIs
• Identify trends, inefficiencies, and performance gaps
• Translate data into clear, actionable insights

What Success Looks Like

• Leadership relies on your dashboards to make decisions
• Data is trusted, consistent, and actionable
• Manual spreadsheets are eliminated
• You uncover insights that improve profitability and efficiency

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Advanced SQL skills (joins, aggregations, performance optimization)
• Advanced Power BI experience (data modeling, DAX, dashboard design)
• Experience working with messy, multi-source data
• Experience building dashboards used by leadership
• Ability to operate independently

Strongly Preferred

• Experience with ConnectWise or MSP environments
• Financial data experience (P&L, margins, cost tracking)
• Azure or cloud data environments
• Experience building KPI frameworks
