Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
This role may require floating to additional units and locations
Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:
RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.
No medical marijuana cards accepted.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Genitourinary/Renal, Medications, Heparin, Insulin, Neurological/Psychiatric, Orthopedics, Total joint replacement, Respiratory, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Work Settings, MS/Tele, Med/Surg, Telemetry, Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac
Preferred Skills/Experience: Telemetry - remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, PCA, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post neurosurgery, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, CPM
Special Requests: No RTO the first week of an assignment.
Shift & Scheduling:
- BJC policy: Every other weekend required.
- Start date: 3-4 weeks per compliance tier, biweekly starts
Floating Requirements: Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Float within service line. Memorial Belleville/Memorial East as needed for support
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
