• The role of the Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director.
• The Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
• The Registered Nurse Mother Baby unit cares for women of childbearing age and newborns.
• Flexible Scheduling - PRN NIGHTS (Minimum 3 shifts in a 4 week schedule; availability Sunday - Saturday with mostly weekday (night) coverage.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
• Ability to achieve and maintain BLS. NRP certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Professional certification in specialty practice area preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is a 340+ bed facility offering acute medical services to our patients. We are Johnson Countys only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center. We have an Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center. Our hospital is a premier area destination for Women's & Childrens healthcare services. We offer the regions only Maternal Fetal Health Center to care for critically ill mothers and their babies. Our hospital has an antepartum unit, a labor and delivery unit, and a Level III NICU.
