Responsibilities
- Oversee the deployment of automation projects, network optimization projects, process engineering initiatives, and respond to requests from operational leaders.
- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress.
- Prepare status reports for upper management.
- Lead and direct the work of team members.
- Hold vendors accountable and ensure proper installation of automation and MHE equipment.
- Work collaboratively with other teams in operational warehouses.
- Identify gaps in standards and implement solutions.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in project/program management or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- PMP certification.
- Strong understanding of program management, project management, and vendor management.
- Experience in 3rd party vendor communication.
- Proficiency in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with automation, MHE, material handling, and testing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of engineering background.
- 3-5 years of project management experience.
- Ability to manage interpersonal conflicts.
- Quick learner with the ability to identify gaps in standards.
This role requires 100% travel to work site locations, with travel typically occurring from Monday to Friday, both locally and across the country. The Project/Program Manager will work with regional teams to complete multiple automation installation projects. The work environment involves heavy tracking, project management, technology utilization, and communication.
