Bookkeeper responsibilities: Record financial data into QuickBooks, process accounts payable, maintain billing data, provide billing statements for services rendered, maintain Program materials inventory, enter Vision Program data. Report to Financial & Administrative Assistant. Agency employs 30 staff members. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB DUTIES Record financial transaction into QuickBooks on daily, weekly basis for Chief Financial Officer Process accounts payable including agency expenses, employee expenses Prepare payment authorization documents, print checks for signature, mail. Manage monthly ACH payments. Maintain agency analysis data of expenses Maintain accounts receivable Book all revenue Maintain billing data by revenue sources Prepare billing for program services rendered Maintain inventories including office supplies and Program supplies Enter Program data for clients served Maintain records including demographic information Interface with Data Manager Assist as necessary with event details. Attend Staff meetings for training and discussion of procedures and outcomes. These essential job functions are not to be construed as a complete statement of all duties performed. During the current year, PVF will provide almost 800 comprehensive vision screening events in a myriad of community settings. PVF will screen 20,000 children and adults and case manage 4,000 referrals to ensure the individual receives the needed eye exam and glasses or specialist medical eye care to preserve vision.
