Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian. This full-service small animal hospital provides comprehensive medical care for canine and feline patients and is seeking a veterinarian to join a well-supported and collaborative team. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with no after-hours services. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, offering a consistent weekday schedule.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, wellness testing, vaccinations, parasite control, flea and tick prevention, microchipping, weight management programs, and new kitten and puppy packages. The Associate Veterinarian will perform general and routine surgeries including spays and neuters, provide emergency care during regular hours, and manage intensive care cases. Additional responsibilities include diagnostics, utilizing digital radiology and ultrasound, and delivering high-quality preventive and primary care while maintaining strong client communication and service standards.

Practice Details
This is a full-service small animal hospital offering advanced diagnostics and procedures. Equipment includes digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, and a dedicated surgical suite. The hospital promotes hands-free radiology and provides services spanning preventive care, primary care, emergency care during business hours, intensive care, general surgery, and routine surgeries. The practice is actively involved in supporting local community programs and veterinary education initiatives.

The hospital has 2 DVMs and a fantastic tenured support team, including long-term doctors and experienced staff committed to delivering exceptional medicine and client service in a collaborative environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
