CDL A Flatbed Driver - Light Touch - $26 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Newport News, VA.

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

• Schedule: [Mon-Fri / 1st Shift / home daily
• Pay: $26 Per hour
• Route Type: Local
• Freight / Load Type: wood, vinyl
• Equipment: Tanker, 48ft-53ft, Manual (10, 13, 18-speed)
• Handling: Unloading using hose attachment, pressurized tank (not gravity)

• License: CDL-A
• Experience: 2-3+years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience, and 1 year of tanker experience
• Endorsements: X
• Equipment Experience: Hazmat/Tanker/TWIC
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

• Safely operate CDL-A Tanker on local routes
• Transport hazmat liquids in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Perform required handling tasks including unloading used oil, jet fuel. CHT, Chemicals, Oily waste, using hose attachment.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Meet the physical demands of the role, including using hose attachment
