Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership to the quality assurance function, ensuring alignment of quality initiatives with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine quality strategies and improvement plans to enhance operational performance.
  • Establish and oversee robust quality control systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Perform routine audits, inspections, and evaluations to maintain consistent quality outcomes.
  • Design and deliver training programs to educate construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on quality standards and best practices.
  • Promote a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement across all project phases.
  • Partner with safety teams to ensure alignment between quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable safety guidelines and industry requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality documentation, including plans, inspection reports, and project records.
  • Prepare and present regular quality performance reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead corrective and preventive action initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive quality enhancements.
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships, proactively addressing quality-related concerns.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through consistent delivery of quality outcomes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the quality assurance team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related discipline; advanced degree or certifications preferred.
  • Active Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction quality assurance, including leadership responsibilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction quality control practices, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with quality management systems and related tools.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality excellence, and continuous improvement.
