Introductory Employment Period

Your employment with Archaea will begin with an introductory period of 90 days , starting from your first day of work. The introductory period is intended to support your transition into the role and provide an opportunity for both you and the Company to ensure a strong mutual fit. During this time, well work together to assess how your performance, conduct, and reliability align with the expectations of the position and the values of our organization, while also offering guidance and feedback to help you succeed.

During this time, your supervisor will evaluate your ability to meet the expectations of your role, including but not limited to:

  • Consistent and timely attendance

  • Quality and accuracy of work

  • Ability to meet deadlines and productivity standards

  • Adherence to company policies and procedures and the bp Code of Conduct

  • Professional behavior and collaboration with team members and management

At the conclusion of the introductory period, your performance will be reviewed. If you successfully demonstrate satisfactory performance consistent with the criteria set forth above, your continued at-will employment will be confirmed. If, however, you do not successfully demonstrate performance consistent with the criteria set forth above, your employment with Archaea will be terminated at the end of the probationary period.

Note that, your employment with Archaea is at-will both during the probationary period and if you successfully complete the probationary period. At-will means that either you or Archaea may terminate your employment at any time, with or without cause, and with or without prior notice.

About the role

As a Quality Control Inspector at Conifer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and compliance. Your primary objective is to perform precise inspections and testing during all stages of production: ensuring our products meet rigorous quality, safety, and environmental standards.

This role is essential to Conifers commitment to quality at every stage of production. Your work helps protect our brand driving operational excellence across the board.

Key accountabilities

  • Follow all safety rules and report any unsafe conditions to the Leads or supervisors.
  • Perform incoming, in process, and final inspections of materials, components, and finished products.
  • Verify heat codes, Material Test Reports (MTRs), certificates of conformity, and other test documentation for accuracy.
  • Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections to verify conformity to specifications and quality standards.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing instructions, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure products meet internal quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Monitor production operations to ensure ongoing compliance with company specifications.
  • Ensure inspection tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained; report issues promptly.
  • Accurately record inspection data in logs, databases, or quality systems.
  • Generate inspection reports and document deficiencies or non conformances.
  • Prepare non-conformance reports (NCRs) and support root cause analysis activities.
  • Maintain traceability of inspected items, including labeling, documentation, and records required for audits.
  • Develop and maintain inspection documentation, including job travelers, inspection forms, and quality records.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Provide feedback to supervisors and engineering regarding quality trends and recurring issues.
  • Train and mentor others as needed.
  • Support audits by supplying inspection records and demonstrating compliance.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, troubleshooting customer requests, and performing tasks as assigned.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inspection methods, documentation practices, and manufacturing processes.
  • Suggest and help implement process enhancements to improve product quality and operational efficiency.

Essential education

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

Essential experience

  • Strong understanding of safety standards.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office).
  • Hands on inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with measurement tools and visual inspection techniques.
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings, P&IDs and specifications.
  • Experience reviewing material test reports.
  • Experience working with hand tools, welding equipment, saws, punch press, drill press air tools, grinders, forklift, and overhead crane operations.
  • Possess a positive attitude, ability to work well within a team and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with technical and math abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking to identify quality issues and recommend effective corrective actions.
  • Working knowledge of non-conformance reporting and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with AWS, ASME & ISO 9001 quality standards and systems.

Desirable criteria

  • 3-5 yeas welding GMAW/FCAW/SMAW/GTAW preferred
  • AWS Certified Weld Inspector preferred
  • ASNT Level 2 VT preferred
  • ASNT Level 2 PT preferred

How much do we pay (Base)? 28- $31 *Note that the pay range listed

for this position is a genuinely expected and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the

time of posting.

This position offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120

240 hours of vacation per year for full times employees (60 - 240 hours of vacation per year for part time

employees). You will also be eligible for 9 paid holidays per year and 2 personal choice holidays. You may learn
