Gastroenterology Physician Assistant - Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant) to join our expanding Gastroenterology team. This position is primarily outpatient, offering variety and opportunities to broaden your expertise in digestive health.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients across our Gastroenterology service line, with a focus on outpatient visits
• Collaborate with Supervising Physician, GI Medical Director, and APP colleagues to create individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and ongoing digestive health management
• Work alongside a high performing team of Medical Assistants

Minimum Requirements

• Licensed as Physician Assistant by the Virginia Department of Health Professions required
• Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine outpatient experience strongly preferred
• Training and familiarity in the use of EPIC (EMR) preferred
