The University of Texas at Houston, Department of Surgery, Division of Urology, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to join our dedicated surgical team in 2026. Fellowship training in Urologic Oncology (SUO) or significant experience in oncologic surgery is preferred. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population within a mission-driven public health setting.

The successful candidate will be collaborative, academically engaged, and committed to teaching and mentoring residents and medical students. Responsibilities include performing a broad range of general and oncologic urologic procedures, including surgeries for prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular malignancies. Expertise in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery, including use of the da Vinci robotic platform, is highly desirable.

The candidate will actively participate in multidisciplinary care, including tumor boards, and collaborate closely with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and radiologists to deliver comprehensive, integrated cancer care. In addition to oncologic surgery, the role includes management of general urologic conditions such as nephrolithiasis, urinary incontinence, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Opportunities for involvement in clinical research initiatives are available.
