Experience:

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: EKG interpretation, medication titration. RNs required to titrate drips: We titrate drips mainly Cardizem and heparin. Nurses must be able to read and interpret strips.

Shift & Scheduling:

0700-1930 and 1900-0730.
Weekend Requirements: Every other; Days: Saturday/Sunday. Nights: Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday.
Holiday Requirements: Yes, rotation; Holidays are: Days: Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day. Nights: Memorial Day Eve, July 3rd, Labor Day Eve, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve.

Floating Requirements: Float to other general medical units.

Other Requirements: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job youre applying to.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

Drivers license required for submission

Certifications:

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

BLS (Basic Life Support)
