We are in search of an Estimator to be based in their Columbus, OH office. This company has experienced successful growth for decades and builds in a variety of residential / commercial markets. They focus their efforts on residential / multifamily housing, assisted / senior living, etc. The company is offering a generous compensation structure and opportunity for advancement.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

• 4+ years of experience estimating in multifamily / senior living / apartments
• Experience leading, creating, project estimates, setting up Bid List ( call Subs to get bids)
• Strong understanding of Project Staffing / General Condition requirements
• Ability to create Value Engineering ideas, complete detailed On-Screen Takeoff, prepare presentation documents
• Knowledge of current market pricing, analyzing bids & scopes and ability to develop preliminary preconstruction schedules
• Ability to form strong relationships with subcontractors, owners, architects, engineers, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, Business or related field is preferred
