Experience:

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 22 months of Intensive Care Unit experience with 12 months within the past 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Required Skills/Experience: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Experience with Vents and IV Starts. Shift & Scheduling: D/N or Nights; If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the departments needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time. Weekend shift requirement is variable based on unit needs.

Required Skills/Experience: Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, IV insulin protocols, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Professional Topics and Skills, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Accessing/Managing Ports, External ventricular drain (EVD).

14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days
