Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Project Manager to lead the implementation of an Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS). This position will be a f ull-time contract and h ybrid with employees expected to work onsite 3 days per week.

What Youll Do

  • Manage the project from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with business requirements and Port objectives

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans, tailoring project management methodology (Waterfall or Agile/Scrum) to fit the initiative

  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination among business stakeholders, technology stakeholders, and vendors ensuring clear accountability and collaboration

  • Manage multi-vendor deliverables and integrate with systems within the ecosystem, including VUEWorks

  • Establish asset data standards, asset hierarchies, and governance models for successful implementation

  • Lead regular project meetings, communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, and maintain project documentation and reporting

  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, resolve conflicts, and remove roadblocks to maintain project momentum and deliverables

  • Translate complex technical requirements into business outcomes for executive and non-technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making

  • Coordinate quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and validation activities to ensure project deliverables meet expected outcomes

  • Provide timely and accurate status updates, dashboards, and reporting on project health, escalating concerns when necessary

  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by wearing multiple hatsserving as facilitator, communicator, negotiator, and problem-solver depending on project needs

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects

  • Strong working knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies, with proven ability to select and apply the appropriate approach based on project needs

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments including business, technical, and vendor resources

  • Proven capacity to manage ambiguity, make sound decisions with limited information, and adapt to evolving priorities

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions to complex and unusual challenges

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience reporting to both technical and executive-level stakeholders

Preferred:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related discipline

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile certifications (PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe)

  • Strong preference for candidates with management consulting background

  • Experience managing implementation of an enterprise-wide asset management system

  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

  • Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

$95 to $106 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
