Experience:

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience within the past 3 years.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Experience with Epic is required from last 12 months.

24 months of acute care experience within the past 3 years. Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred from any number of months

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Tracheostomy and surgical experience required. Basic Arrhythmia experience required. Must pass a Telemetry test prior to start. Required Skills: Med/Surg, Gastrointestinal, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Plastics, Surgical drains, Respiratory, Tracheostomy care/managementPreferred Skills/Experience: Gynecology, urology, plastic, and colorectal experience preferred. Epic experience within the last 12 months is preferred. Teaching Hospital Experience. Preferred Skills: TelemetryUnit / Facility Details: Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation if parking onsite Other transportation options are available: bus, park & ride, private parking, etc.Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State IDShift & Scheduling: This position has Day (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and Night (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) shifts available. Pay package is based on the night shift. Weekend rotation required. Some holidays required based on operational need. Sunday - Saturday. Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 RequestFloating Requirements: Travelers are the first to float. May float to other med/surg units. If the primary department no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another department to complete the contract.
