Encapsulation Machine Operator

Job Summary

The Encapsulation Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the NJP-3500 automatic capsule filling machine used in the production of encapsulated products. This role ensures capsules are filled accurately, equipment runs efficiently, and all production follows company quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the NJP-3500 capsule filling machine during production runs.

• Set up the machine for different capsule sizes and product formulations.

• Load empty capsules and product materials into the machine.

• Monitor machine performance to ensure accurate capsule filling and consistent output.

• Perform routine machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and minor maintenance.

• Inspect capsules for weight accuracy, proper sealing, and quality control.

• Maintain clean work areas and follow sanitation procedures.

• Document production data, batch numbers, and machine performance.

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

• Work with production supervisors and quality control teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience operating capsule filling machines or similar production equipment preferred.

• Familiarity with NJP-series encapsulation machines is a plus.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and production procedures.

• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.

• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods during production shifts.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when loading materials.

• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing or production facility.

• May require use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, hairnets, masks, and lab coats.

• Work may involve shift schedules, including evenings or weekends depending on production needs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

• Knowledge of capsule sizes, powder handling, and filling accuracy.

• Familiarity with machine cleaning and changeover procedures.
