Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Sr Account Manager to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ!
The Commercial Lines Sr Account Manager provides service for customer accounts and transactions, in support of the production and retention of the business.
How You Will Contribute:
Finalizing a CIC or AAI Designation
Handle large and complex franchise accounts
Issue certificates of insurance and evidences of property insurance-working knowledge of contract requirements and forms needed.
Issue ID cards
Check billing status with carrier - Handle late pay/cancellation/reinstatement from beginning to end. Communicate with client about pay status via phone and/or email.
Order loss runs - complete loss run matrix
Order Experience mods from current carriers
Able to read/understand an MVR - Orders MVRs when required
Process Change Requests- handle corrections etc. including interaction with clients/carriers
Process Endorsements and invoice any Agency Bill items- issue check request/process refunds from accounting, send refunds to payee.
Process Policies (complete checklist, handle discrepancies, communicate with AE and or underwriter)
Process Audits and Invoice any Agency Bill items-Understand audit and begin process of dealing with disputes and payment issues.
Claim Reporting II (Understand the details-Take claims calls from client/claimant-report information to carrier and communicate claim and adjuster information back to client/claimant)
Pull online documents and attach into client files
If AE is out, monitor the inbox for Certs, Drivers, auto changes, billing issues etc. Advise back-up AE of anything else that might be an emergency
Maintain current activities and follow-up as necessary
Licenses and Certifications:
Property & Casualty License
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
3+ years insurance experience (Preferred)
Independent insurance agency experience (Preferred)
College degree (Preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Professional office environment experience

Pay Range
33.65 - 40.87 HourlyThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
