Position Summary
The Instructional Designer/Trainer is responsible for developing and maintaining training materials and user documentation and delivering engaging training programs to support employees across multiple functions. This role partners with subject matter experts and business leaders to design effective learning experiences that improve employee knowledge, performance, and adoption of systems and processes. The position requires a strong understanding of learning technologies and instructional design principles used to create both digital and instructor-led learning experiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain training materials, including user guides, job aids, presentations, scripts, and e-learning modules.
- Drive margin expansion through disciplined pricing, installation efficiency, warranty cost control, and expense management.
- Examine training products to ensure they reflect an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learners.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts on course design and development to translate business content and new-product launch information into learner-centered experiences.
- Manage and organize training content within learning management systems (LMS).Oversee field operations, installation quality, service execution, and warranty performance to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to brand standards.
- Update and maintain training documentation to reflect process, system, or policy changes.
- Deliver engaging instructor-led and virtual training sessions for employees across various departments.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years in training/facilitation, 1+ years of experience in instructional design
- Excellent communication skills-verbal and written, Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, Accuracy and attention to detail, Flexibility
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory, curriculum development, and learner engagement strategies
- Experience creating learning materials
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or a Combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience in training authoring tools (Articulate preferred)
- Experience with LMS (Learning Management Systems)
- Skills in video editing tools
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional overnight travel is required (1-10%).
Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:
Additional and non-standard hours may be required (exempt).

Standing Occasionally (11-33%)
