Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

Experience:

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Recent acute care/hospital exp required to be considered

Preferred Skills/Experience: 1 year of clinical patient care experience (e.g., PCT, CNA, LPN) in an acute care setting, long-term care facility, or physician practice

Required Credentials:

• LPN EKG exam is required (will not take medication portion of normal EKG exam)
• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia class with passing grade on exam (required for Telemetry/Remote Telemetry units)

Unit/Facility Details: MS/Tele unit with a primary focus on neurology. Neuro/neurosurgical, cardiac, renal and med/surg. Post-cath without intervention, stable arrhythmias, post-pacemakers, syncope, and chronic renal failure.

Shift & Scheduling: Every third weekend

7 days maximum time off

2 references from last 2 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

BLS (Basic Life Support)

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program 8th Edition)
