Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

ASN completion required

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: Trach care, vent, bipaps, cpaps, IVs, PICC, central lines, wound care, bowel programs, TPN, drains/tubes, pulmonary patients with trachs, laryngectomies, central line, G-tube/Peg-tube (tube feeds)

High acuity rehab (needing more acute care experience)

Required Credentials: Education: ASN/BSN

Unit / Facility Details: Parking: Free parking, badge access parking garage

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Rotation: Every third

No call requirement

Holiday Expectations: Will be expected to work some holidays. If there are back-to-back holidays in the contract (i.e. Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day) they will be assigned one of the grouping, not both

Schedule Cycle: Every 6 weeks

*Floating Requirement: *Patients float off unit for HD and PD

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 05/25/2026, 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 0
