RN - Cancer Navigator

This schedule is Monday-Friday. However, our team participates in occasional community outreach afterhours and on weekends.

Piedmont Macon is a 310-bed, acute-care community hospital that has served the Macon community for over 50 years. The medical center offers 24-hour emergency care and all major medical, surgical and diagnostic services.

Responsibilities: The Oncology Navigator is responsible for managing the care of identified patients with cancer, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, to ensure access to high quality care throughout the continuum. Serves as a single point of contact for cancer patients, caregivers, and referring physicians, and provides resources and assistance with accessing clinical and non-clinical supportive care services offered by Piedmont Healthcare and its community partners. Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Required

Work Experience

• 2 years Nursing experience Required
• Oncology experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
• OCN - Oncology Nurse Certification Preferred
