Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Big Bend Retreat

Big Bend Retreat is seeking a compassionate and dedicated LPN to provide high-quality nursing care to our residents. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented professional with strong clinical skills and a commitment to supporting the health and well-being of those in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to resident care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor resident health and report changes to physicians and families
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Supervise and support CNAs and care staff
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies
• Respond to medical needs and emergencies as necessary

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the State of Missouri
• Nursing degree (ADN, BSN, or practical nursing certificate)
• Experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
