Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level which does not require direct supervision, and assumes the responsibilities for designated areas or procedures as required.

• Develops Film by Automatic or Manual Processing
• Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards
• Practices sterile techniques when necessary.
• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness in the department.
• Maintains orderly and safe work area.
• Rotates within the department by shift as required.

• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• Texas Medical Board required
• Associate Degree
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR, or CPR for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
