Job Purpose:

The LPN will assist the Director of Nursing, Nurse Supervisor and RN in developing plans and achieving
that total patient care i s adhered to each and every resident in the unit. Specifically, the LPN will handle
the processing o f all medicine and treatment related administrative activities within the agreed timeline
and standards established by the facility.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure
- Administer medications as ordered and report adverse reactions t o medications o r treatments
- Dress wounds, give alcohol rubs, apply compresses, ice bags, and hot water bottles, bathe and dress
patients, and collect blood and urine samples
- Monitor patients and chart medical records accurately
- Report the condition o f a patient back to RNs and doctors
- Communicate openly and effectively with patients and families, while demonstrating compassion and
friendly behavior
- Supervise nursing assistants
- Ensure that supplies, medications, and equipment are restocked and maintained s o that they are ready
to use
- Admit, discharge, and transfer patients

**Pay rate of $30. Positions available for full-time, part-time, and per-diem for a variety of shifts. Requirements to be discussed upon contact.
