PRN Registered Nurse NICU

As a PRN Registered Nurse NICU, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. • Under the general direction of the Director or Manager, coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care. Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and the generic and unit structure standards.
• Level 3, NICU with multidisciplinary team consisting of neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, nurses, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, and social workers.

• 
  Flexible PRN schedule: Minimum 3 12-hr shifts in a 4 week schedule plus rotating weekend

• Graduate of school of nursing required.
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
• BLS Required. NRP certification to be obtained within first 6 months of employment.
• Minimum one year nursing experience required. Previous clinical experience in area of specialty preferred.
