• Deliver expert nursing interventions and monitor patient conditions in a fast-paced Level 1 environment, ensuring strict adherence to advanced trauma protocols and organizational standards.

• Serve as the central point of contact for the healthcare team, synthesizing physician orders and diagnostic results to implement and adapt comprehensive patient care plans.

• Lead the end-to-end patient experience by assessing clinical stability and collaborating with case management to facilitate proactive, safe, and timely discharge planning.

• Maintain meticulous documentation and real-time communication of patient status changes, ensuring gold-standard safety and continuity of care for short-stay populations.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.

• 2 years Acute Care or Med Surg experience in a hospital setting
• BSN preferred
