The clinician will conduct thorough evaluations of patient medical history, symptoms, and risk factors related to blood disorders and cancers. Responsibilities include ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood work, bone marrow biopsies, imaging studies, and genetic testing. The position involves analyzing biopsy results in collaboration with pathologists to determine disease type and stage. The clinician will formulate diagnoses and provide clear explanations to patients and families regarding blood cancers and disorders. Treatment responsibilities include ordering chemotherapy and immunotherapies while utilizing resources such as NCCN, UpToDate, and Micromedex for evidence-based care and medical necessity justification.

• Case Load/PPD: 2 oncology consults, 1 heme consult, 12-16 follow-ups daily
• Support Staff: Nursing staff, medical assistants, and administrative support
