Full time Security Officer in Merrill, WI - $18.50 Per Hour

Pay: $18.50 Per Hour Location: Merrill, Wi Schedule: Saturday and Sundays 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Mondays 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday OFF 36 Hours Per Week - Full Time Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer Mobile Patrol to maintain a safe and secure environment for personnel, visitors, and property. The officer will conduct both walking and driving patrols between three buildings on site using a company vehicle provided by the client . This position requires strong observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.

• Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols between three designated buildings on the property.
• Use the company-provided vehicle to perform scheduled and random security rounds.
• Monitor the premises for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches.
• Ensure doors, gates, and access points are properly secured.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergency situations.
• Provide a visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in security logs and reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, site staff, and emergency services when necessary.
• Enforce site rules, policies, and safety procedures.

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (required).
• Ability to safely operate a company-provided vehicle.
• Previous security, law enforcement, or related experience preferred but not required.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods while conducting patrols.
• Ability to work independently and remain alert during shifts.
• Basic report writing and documentation skills.
• Must pass a background check and any required security licensing requirements.

• Regular walking and driving patrols between multiple buildings.
• Driving patrols are conducted using a company vehicle.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be responsible and dependable
• Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.
• Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. Must not have any felonies.
• Must be able to obtain a DSPS Private Security Person license.
