Local CDL - A Aggregate Lead Trailer Driver

We are seeking a safety-conscious CDL-A Driver to operate high-capacity aggregate lead trailer units. In this local role, you will be responsible for the daily transport of bulk materials like sand, gravel, and crushed stone. This position requires precision in heavy-weight maneuvering and a commitment to strict safety protocols during loading and dumping.

Key Responsibilities

• Haul aggregates, gravel, sand, soil, asphalt, and other materials
• Ensure loads are evenly distributed and do not exceed strict weight restrictions
• Operate end-dump or belly-dump trailers
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain load tickets and required DOT driver documentation
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Communicate with dispatch and job site personnel to ensure timely deliveries

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license
• Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements
• Dump truck, construction, or aggregate hauling experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors and navigate construction job sites
• Reliable, safety-focused driver
• Ability to operate a manual transmission if required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a truck
• Frequently enter and exit the truck cab during the workday
• Bend, stoop, and kneel to inspect equipment
• Drive in various weather conditions
