Job Summary:
The Director of Quality will be responsible for establishing and maintaining rigorous quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and upholding the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

As a Director of Quality, You Will:
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Quality function, aligning quality initiatives with overall business objectives and long-term operational goals while driving execution of continuous improvement strategies.
  • Establish and maintain robust quality control and assurance processes to ensure projects consistently meet or exceed specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, including leading routine audits and inspections.
  • Develop and deliver quality training programs for internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, promoting a strong culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with safety leadership to ensure alignment between quality and safety initiatives, maintaining full compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
  • Oversee and maintain detailed quality documentation and reporting systems, including quality plans, inspection records, corrective action logs, and executive-level performance updates.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, leading corrective and preventive action plans while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and elevate overall performance.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively addressing quality-related concerns and ensuring a high level of satisfaction with project execution and deliverables.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the quality assurance team, fostering a collaborative, performance-driven environment focused on professional growth and operational excellence.

Skills/Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in construction quality assurance, including leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of construction quality control processes, safety protocols, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional quality leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus).
  • Valid Certified Welding Inspector with active certification.
