Bristol Health is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner to join a collaborative team of committed behavioral healthcare professionals to provide quality care and substance recovery services to individuals with a broad range of mental health illnesses in the greater Bristol community.

This opportunity is at our outpatient Counseling Center of Bristol Health and is an exciting opportunity for a provider that thrives in a multidisciplinary team approach to treatment and enjoys an environment that promotes continuous learning and knowledge sharing. The position offers flexible scheduling, regular interdisciplinary team meetings and a high reliability culture.

Since 1960s, Bristol Health's Counseling Center has provided counseling to individual adults, couples and families who seek assistance for a wide variety of issues. Problems range from temporary difficulties to complex long-term problems that affect emotional and physical health.

Treatment at the Counseling Center includes:

  • Medication management

  • Individual, group and family therapy

  • Partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs on-site

  • Collaboration with Bristol Hospital Emergency Department, Crisis Clinicians and Physicians to transfer to inpatient treatment

State/Federal Mandated Licensure or Certification Requirements:
